“We can confirm that Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” Houston’s rep, Jill Fritzo, told RadarOnline.com
“Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”
Whitney's out-patient treatment means that while she remains free to go about her daily life, but is monitored by a sober companion.
The 47-year-old pop thrush has had a long history of battling her addictions – including booze and crack cocaine.
In 2009, when Whitney released a comeback album, she declared herself healthy and clean.
But, her 2010 tour overseas was more than troubled troubled.
