NJ GOV. CHRIS CHRISTIE out as a potential GOP Prez contender after report emerges that he knew about the payback plot.
The New York Times reported that a Port Authority official appointed by Gov, Christ Christie says the portly politician knew about the George Washington Bridge lane closings at the time of the shutdowns.
As The ENQUIRER previously reported the so-called "BridgeGate" was alleged as payback against the Fort Lee, NJ mayor who did not support the alleged bully’s reelection campaign.
The plot bottled up traffic in a no movement zone in Fort Lee on the Jersey side of the suspension bridge linking Gotham to NJ.
The Times reported Friday that David Wildstein, via his barrister, released a letter claiming “evidence exists … tying Mr. Christie to having knowledge of the lane closures, during the period when the lanes were closed, contrary to what the governor stated publicly.”
