AFTER a swift kick from her kids, Cher has reunited with former beau, badboy biker Tim Medvetz – and the two are once again altar-bound!
“Cher and Tim plan to hop on the back of a chopper this fall and take off on a road trip that will end at a Vegas wedding chapel,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.
“This is Cher’s last chance at love, and she has her sons Chaz and Elijah Blue to thank.”
The Oscar winning diva, 66, and Tim – a 42-year-old ex-Hells Angel who recently scaled Mount Everest for the second time – came close to saying “I do” in 2008, but the nuptials were derailed by her hectic work schedule, the source said.
“Cher struggled with that for a long time emotionally,” said the friend.
With 6-foot-5 Medvetz out of the picture, Cher focused all her attention on Chaz, 43, and 36-year-old Elijah Blue, the friend said.
“When they tried to get her to back off, Cher sniped, ‘You guys are all I have. It’s not like I have grandchildren!’” revealed the source.
“Since neither Chaz nor Elijah is planning on kids, Chaz finally sat Cher down and said, ‘Mom, get a life! Go back to Tim!’”
The two met up secretly, “and they picked up right where they left off,” the friend continued.
“Now Cher is beaming, and Tim told a pal, ‘I thought climbing Everest was the ultimate call of the wild, but I think marrying Cher will top that!’”
