CASH'S DAUGHTER BLASTS NEW FILM
By DAVID WRIGHT
One of Johnny Cash's daughters was so disgusted by a blockbuster new movie about her country legend father that she walked out of a private screening — five times!
Kathy Cash, 49, is furious at the way her mother — Cash's first wife Vivian — is portrayed in Walk The Line.
"My mom was basically a non-entity in the entire film — except for [being shown as] the mad little psycho who hated his career," charged an emotional Kathy. "That's not true — she loved his career and was proud of him until he started taking drugs and stopped coming home."
The movie is already creating Oscar buzz for its stars — Joaquin Phoenix, who plays Johnny and Reese Witherspoon, who portrays June. But it's done nothing but leave a bitter taste in Kathy's mouth.
She said: "I have a lot of really fun, positive memories of my parents. They left out any good parts. That's what bothers me so bad. Mom was his first love. I was very upset — I walked out on that film five times."
