CASEY ANTHONY SURVIVES MURDER ATTEMPT

America’s most hated woman, CASEY ANTHONY, survived a terrifying assassination attempt and had to be rushed to a new safe house in the middle of the night, say investigators.

Panic-stricken bodyguards pulled the “Monster Mom” out of the kill zone in the nick of time and hustled her away before an assassin could put a bullet through her brain, sources told The ENQUIRER in a world exclusive.

Casey has been in hiding since her release from jail after she was found “not guilty” in the brutal slaying of her adorable 2-year-old daughter Caylee.

The shocking July 5 verdict infuriated vigilantes who have vowed to “barbecue” her and hurl her “into a vat of acid.”

Despite efforts by her crack security team to protect her in a remote area of Florida, it appears as if a hit man located her hideout. He spelled out his murderous intentions in a scrawled note that was placed in an envelope and taped to her door.

When the “death warrant” was discovered by bodyguards, they immediately sprang into action to save her life, say insiders.

“The note sent chills down the spines of her security team, who realized her hiding place had become a deadly kill zone,” revealed an insider.

“The note read, ‘I know where you are! I’m coming to put a bullet through your brain!’ ”

It was eerily similar to an e-mail threat the bodyguards had previously received, stating: “I want her dead! If I knew where she was, I would do it myself!”

The threatening message left on the door “set off a complete panic,” divulged the insider.

“There are plenty of people who want to kill Casey because they believe she got away with murdering little Caylee.”

Her security guards had to assume that Casey’s head was in the cross hairs of a sniper’s rifle, and any second could be her last if she stepped outside or even walked by a window.

So the bodyguards surrounded her, hustled her into an SUV with tinted windows and roared away at high speed, according to close sources.

“They rushed her off in the middle of the night to another safe house – a prearranged hideout that was available in the event of such an emergency,” noted the insider.

Decoy vehicles were also used so that the killer would not know which one contained Casey.

“The fact she is still hidden and still alive is testimony to just how good her team of bodyguards are. They’re the best, but it was a very close call,” said the insider.
