When shooting “CSI: Miami” legendary RAQUEL WELCH nearly became flattened when a 300-pound man landed on top of her!
While filming a guest appearance in Manhattan Beach, Calif., recently, the 71-year-old stunner was having trouble crossing a driveway constructed of uneven stones because she was wearing high heels.
A production assistant who saw her struggling offered to help, and she gladly accepted, sources told The ENQUIRER.
“She was very appreciative and took the guy’s arm,” revealed an insider. “But he noticed she was still teetering on the shoes and asked her if she would like him to carry her. She accepted, and he swept her off her feet and started off, carrying her down the driveway.
“Several of the crew members began to applaud and cheer him on – calling him a hero – when suddenly he stumbled, dropped Raquel on the ground and fell on top of her!”
What’s worse, sources estimate he weighed about 300 pounds!
“Raquel was in pain and complained that her hip and hand hurt,” continued the insider. “She thought she’d broken a finger.”
Ever the pro, Raquel went right on filming the police procedural.
“The doc determined she’d just jammed a finger, and her hip seemed to be all right,” added the source.
“Although he wanted to take her to a hospital to be X-rayed, she refused.”
