Live from New York, it’s Betty White! The 88-year-old comedian will host Saturday Night Live on May 8.
After her hilarious Super Bowl commercial for Snickers, a grassroots campaign ignited on Facebook urging SNL to have Betty on as a host.
Now the Golden Girls star will headline a special Mother’s Day episode with along with six former SNL cast members — Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
Although Betty isn’t a mother herself, producer Lorne Michaels told USA Today: "She’s the mother of us all in comedy."
