Ex-Phila. Phillies and NY Mets legend (AND Charlie Sheen pal) LENNY “Nails” DYKSTRA bitch slapped by LA District Attorney with 25 criminal charges!
“Nails”, the former basbeall slugger and long time Charlie Sheen pal was charged with no less than 25 criminal counts today in court.
The Los Angeles District Attorney said Dykstra allegedly leased cars using phony business and credit information and possession of controlled substances, RadarOnline.com reported.
Charged along with Dykstra, 48, were his accountant Robert Hymers and Christopher Gavanis
Prosecutors charged the trio that they tried to lease high-end vehicles from several car dealers with false information.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, the accused allegedly drove off with cars from a Ford dealership after providing false info, and allegedly proffered credit deets with a faux co-signer.
When Dykstra was busted on April 14 cops say they found cocaine and Ecstasy in his possession. Cops also charged the 1986 World Series hero great with possession of the human growth hormone Somatropin.
Dykstra is charged with 23 felonies and 2 misdemeanors. If convicted, “Nails” faces up to 12 years in prison. Bail was asked to be set at $500,000 by the DA.
