Beefy AVATAR star SAM WORTHINGTON has a new GF — and she’s NOT blue!
Sam has settled down in paradise with beautiful blonde Crystal Umphrey – and the hunky thesp is telling pals the sexy bartender is out of this world!
A little more than a year after the couple met, the 35-year-old actor has moved the Portland, Ore., “mixologist” into his beachfront Hanalei, Hawaii, home.
“Sam’s telling everyone that Crystal is ‘the one,’ and family and friends are expecting him to propose within the year,” confided a close source.
“Crystal travels to movie sets around the world with Sam, but they are happiest when they are at his lavish home in Hawaii.”
The two met in February 2011 when Sam walked into Saucebox, the Portland restaurant and bar where Crystal was working. “She didn’t even know he was a famous actor at first,” revealed the source.
“They went on a date, and her friends kept saying that’s the guy from ‘Avatar.’ She didn’t believe them since he hadn’t talked about his career. But when they showed her a DVD of the film, her jaw dropped.
“Sam loved that she liked him just for himself – and they’ve been inseparable ever since.”
Sam who also toplined in “Clash of the Titans,” has enjoyed a whirlwind romance with Crystal, 25, traveling to Las Vegas, Paris, London and his hometown of Perth, Australia.
In early 2011, Sam, who was born in England but raised Down Under, broke up with fashion stylist Natalie Mark, his girlfriend of three years. Said the source: “He moved on to Crystal and hasn’t looked back since.”
