Courteney Cox and David Arquette are taking their first steps into the world of reality TV. The former Friends star and her offbeat actor husband have struck a deal with TBS to do a reality series starring British comedienne Daisy Donovan.

But Cox and Arquette don’t intend to star in the show — they will “only” produce the nine episode series called Daisy Does America for TBS. In the show Donovan will “embrace the American dream” by traveling around the U.S. trying to pass herself off in random jobs and playing outrageous pranks.

This will not be the first venture that the couple’s company — Coquette Productions — has taken on. They have already produced the home decorating show Mix It Up for the Women’s Entertainment Channel.

With the new comedy show, Cox and Arquette are hoping to create a long-standing relationship with TBS, who have indicated that the couple will be commissioned for other projects.

Steve Koonin, executive vice president and CEO for TBS and TNT said: “The ideas that Coquette brings to the table will be invaluable as TBS continues to build upon its ‘very funny’ branding with innovative and comedic reality show concepts.”
