ANDERSON COOPER got an early start on hitting the NYC nightlife!
The CNN anchor recently looked back at visiting the disco Studio 54 in the ’70s with his socialite mom, Gloria Vanderbilt – when he was 10 years old!
“I went to Studio 54 with Michael Jackson and a bunch of people,” he recalled, “and I had no idea who he was. I saw him dance, and I was like, ‘That guy’s a really good dancer.’ ”
Amazingly enough, that was Anderson’s second trip to Studio 54 – with his first trip to see sexy disco songstress Grace Jones!
Good thing Anderson has said out loud what everyone’s already thinking: “Child welfare authorities probably want to talk to my mom.”
