Late Night TV in turmoil as bad boy ALEC BALDWIN wooed to host a talker produced by SNL’s Lorne Michaels – report.

The New York Times reported that NBC – which just transitioned “The Tonight Show” from Jay Leno to Jimmy Fallon – is in talks to sign the “30 Rock” lothario to host a chatty cathy.

They’re keen on landing the Emmy winner Baldwin to armchair the 1:35 Am half hour talker.

The Peacock Net desperately wants to keep the fulsome funnyman in the fold and have already inked a two year overall deal last year.

Baldwin who’s hosted “Saturday Night Live” a record 16 times has proven his chops with improv and keeping viewers awake past the midnight hour.

Insiders are saying SNL’s Lorne Michaels  (who also produced "30 Rock") may produce the Baldwin talker.

And with only a half hour running time that still leaves plenty of time for Baldwin to take acting gigs and battle photogs.
