Wife’s fury as “Big” AL ROKER packs on the pounds again!
With the big 6-0 looming in August, beloved NBC “Today” show weatherman Al Roker is once again waging the battle of the bulge.
The 5-foot-8 meteorologist weighed a scale-crunching 320 pounds before slimming down to 200 pounds after undergoing gastric bypass surgery in 2002.
But shocking new photos obtained by The National ENQUIRER reveal Al’s back in the heavyweight class.
“As Al gets older, it’s harder for him to keep the weight off, and he faces temptation every day,” said a friend.
“Summer is Al’s favorite time of year because he loves barbecuing, and he appears to be fattening up again.
“And his wife, Deborah Roberts, will read him the riot act!”
Al, who also hosts “Wake Up With Al” on The Weather Channel, has admitted that before his stomach-stapling procedure, “I ate myself stupid. I thought, ‘I’m never going to eat like this again.’”
He wrote in a recent Facebook chat, “Only take 1 or 2 bites.”
But he can’t seem to help himself! “Is there anything better than bacon?” he wrote in a recent Twitter post. “If loving you is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.”
