UPDATE: Rielle Hunter, the ex-mistress of disgraced 2 time Presidential loser John Edwards, accompanied by their love child, testified before a Federal grand jury investigation into possible misuse of presidential campaign funds for NINE HOURS.
The former presidential campaign videographer and mother of John Edwards love child, as The ENQUIRER exclusively revealed in a series of ground breaking reports entered the North Carolina courthouse at 9 AM accompanied by their 1 year old daughter Frances Quinn.
Her appearance come close on the heels of former Edwards aide Andrew Young who pulled a John Dean in an effort to save his own neck from possible perjury charges. Young had previously claimed to the father of Hunter’s child but when the hush money from late money man Fred Baron dried up, he began distancing himself from Edwards. He later wrote a tell-all book which has been announced by a major publishing house.
The bombshell court appearance comes exactly one year to the day that The NATIONAL ENQUIRER dropped the John Edwards blast heard around the world – spy photos of Edwards holding his baby as he visited Hunter after being ambushed by two Enquirer reporters at the Beverly Hills Hilton.
Two days later Edwards went on Nightline to admit his affair but denied paternity, saying he was more than willing to take a DNA test which mistress Rielle Hunter later demanded and Edwards has yet to comply
Hunter’s video production for Edwards’ failed 2nd presidential bid was paid $100,000 in 2006 the year of the affair. The committee then paid another $14,086 on April 1, 2007.
Former senator Edwards himself confirmed The ENQUIRER’s world exclusive that he was the subject of the Federal Grand Jury probe into possible misuse of campaign funds.
The US Attorney’s office in Raleigh, NC, has declined to comment as such august proceedings are secret pending possible indictment of the accused.
