Nick Lachey may soon have a new Jessica in his life — gorgeous actress Jessica Biel!

Sources say that Lachey was on cloud nine with the 7th Heaven hottie during a fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, held Oct. 15 at a Las Vegas nightclub.

And Biel, 23, appeared just as enamored with Lachey — even though she's been dating actor Chris Evans. Simpson, meanwhile, was home in L.A.

Said a source: "Nick arrived at the event with his brother Drew but as soon as he saw Jessica, he made a beeline straight for her!

"After that, he rarely left her side all night, flirting with Jessica every chance he got. She seemed to love all the attention, and she stared at Nick adoringly."

A rep for Lachey denied he was flirting with Biel.
