44-lb. Actress Back From The Dead

44 pound actress ne short

A tragic actress turned into a 44-pound bedridden bag of bones by a killer eating disorder made a miraculous comeback after breakthrough medical treatment and grueling physical therapy!

Anorexia-ravaged Rachael Farrokh, who was so frail she could barely speak just six months ago, was able to walk for 15 minutes every day — the first steps she took in nearly a decade.

The San Clemente, Calif., woman has finally hobbled away from death’s door thanks to specialized treatment in Portugal funded by $200,000 in donations that poured in after her plight was highlighted on a YouTube video.

“I actually have a chance to live,” said grateful 5-foot-7 Rachael, who endured agony as she fought to regain her lost weight and strength.

Her life turned around at a Portuguese clinic that used “love and support” to help her beat the disease. Treatments at American hospitals relied on “reward and punishment” tactics, which ignored “the brain must come along with the body,” she said.

After her Portuguese treatment, she returned to the United States using specialized equipment, including a machine that helped her stand.

She also had a “handpicked team” of medical experts and her devoted husband, Rod Edmondson, who quit his job to care for his wife around the clock, at her bedside.

Every step of the courageous Golden State gal’s long road to health was documented on the Internet.

“It’s going to be a long recovery, it could be three to five years,” Rachael admited. “But I know I can do this!”
