A brutally battered teacher who ran over her abusive husband has avoided a murder rap — thanks to a shocking 911 recording that had angry citizens leaping to her defense!

Police arrested second-grade teacher Angela Luke, 40, the day after her bank vice president husband, Daniel Luke, 42, was pronounced dead, socking her with two homicide charges!

But that was before a desperate 911 recording surfaced that captured Angela being mercilessly beaten.

The deadly drama unfolded at the couple’s home, near Canal Winchester, Ohio, where Angela was attacked by her blotto husband in front of their two kids.

Their terrified 12-year-old daughter called 911.

“My dad is hurting my mom. He’s making marks on my mom!” she yelled on the recording, telling the dispatcher her dad had been drinking.

“Get off my mother!” she then screamed.

Angela eventually bolted to her car in the driveway with the 12-year-old and her sister, 8.

As the deranged dad grabbed onto the side of the car, the older girl continued her horrifying report.

“He’s holding on. Can you come really fast?” she asks the operator before yelling, “Go fast, Mommy!”

Luke eventually lost his grip, slipped and was hit by the car as Angela pulled away to escape his terrible attack.

But instead of driving away after she hit him, Angela remained at the scene while her daughter urgently told the dispatcher her father was unconscious and bleeding from the head.

“My father’s dead! My father’s dead! My father’s dead! Please come help, hurry!” she cried.

Paramedics arrived to find Luke barely alive, and rushed him to a hospital, where he died the following day.

Lawmen charged Angela with aggravated vehicle homicide and reckless homicide. Her school district bosses suspended her from her job without pay.

Those decisions sparked outraged protests from Angela’s colleagues and domestic violence activists, who brought the 911 tapes to the prosecution’s attention.

When prosecutors heard the recording, they realized Angela’s vicious husband deserved what he got!

They immediately dropped all charges — and Angela was reinstated to her job at Tussing Elementary School in Reynoldsburg, Ohio!
