Tragic child Caleb Schwab, 10, was the son of state Rep. Scott Schwab. He died in Aug. 2016 on the ride that’s billed as offering a drop bigger than going over Niagara Falls.

Then, in a shocking decision, Tyler Austin Miles — the operations director for the water park — was booked on charges of involuntary manslaughter on March 23, 2018!

Eyewitnesses reported that the child was flung out of the raft and hit the metal bar holding netting covering the slide — saying that there are several gaps that would provide fatal impact.

“You’re going 65 miles per hour down that thing,” said one park veteran who was there when Caleb died.

“Anybody’s dead if they’re jarred out of their raft and make impact at that speed. An adult staffer usually rides down with children to meet a weight requirement.”

Caleb’s death was likely on impact. “Everyone knew the child was dead at the scene,” said an eyewitness. “People weren’t calling for medical help.”

The video above shows both the speed of the descent, and the netting and supporting wires that could have also contributed to the impact.
