The video above captures the shocking moment when the Russian ambassador to Turkey is ruthlessly shot down at an art gallery — by a Turkish police man!
Ambassador Andrey Karlov became a victim of the gunfire in the Syrian city of Aleppo when the assassin decided to kill the innocent man to avenge the war there!
Karlov was in the Turkish city of Ankara to give a speech at an art exhibit when the killer — identified via social media as 22-year-old Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş — shot him before beginning a rant while brandishing a gun!
The gunman first shouted “Allahu Akbar” — adding: “We die in Aleppo, you die here!”
The city in Syria is currently in the midst of a war as both U.S.-backed Syrian forces and Russians fight ISIS there.
The U.S. State Department quickly issued a statement, saying: “We condemn this act of violence, whatever its source. Our thoughts and prayers are with [Karlov] and his family.'”
In a possible sign of a coordinated attack, the U.S. embassy in Ankara announced an “ongoing security incident” shortly after the shooting, and advised American citizens to avoid the area.
