The captain of the yacht where Natalie Wood spent her final night believes that Robert Wagner murdered the screen legend — with Dennis Davern making the shocking accusation in a troubling interview with Dr. Phil McGraw!
The shocking statement is seen above in this exclusive video from upcoming episodes of “Dr. Phil,” as the talk-show host sits down with Davern and renowned journalist Dylan Howard to discuss the bombshell podcast “Fatal Voyage: The Mysterious Death Of Natalie Wood.”
Dr. Phil is seen here talking with Davern in the Fri., Sept. 14, program, as the hit podcast once again makes headlines with startling new claims about the screen legend’s final hours!
The clips shows Davern — who was the pilot of Wagner and Wood’s yacht Splendour — recalling how he “could hear things being thrown around the state room” during an argument on the boat before Natalie’s disappearance, with the star later being found floating in the waters off the California coast.
The video also shows the shocking moment where Dr. Phil asks: “Do you believe Robert Wagner murdered Natalie Wood?” — as Davern responds: “Yes, I really do.”
The bombshell accusation comes shortly after Davern told The National ENQUIRER that Wagner refused to let the captain leave the star’s mansion in the months after the tragedy, claiming: “It was just like I was in a prison.”
“Robert Wagner,” notes Dr. Phil,”has denied that he had anything to do with his wife’s death.”
Natalie disappeared from the Splendour on November 29, 1981 — while on a pleasure cruise with Wagner and her “Brainstorm” co-star Christopher Walken. Davern’s shocking statement can be seen in full on “Dr. Phil,” airing in nationwide syndication on Fri., Sept. 14!
