[GRAPHIC FOOTAGE] Shocking video that appears to show a high-school cheerleader being forced against her will into a split led school officials in Denver, Colo. to suspend two coaches and an administrator!
The disturbing footage — shot on phones by squad members and circulated — resulted in several coaches and school administrators at Denver’s East Side High School being put on leave.
The excruciating footage shows a young woman screaming in pain while her arms and legs are held as she’s brutally spread into the splayed pose.
“Please stop!” cries the young woman, identified as incoming freshman Ally Wakefield.
In a furious email sent to the school, Ally’s mother, Kristen, alleges that the incident left her young daughter injured and asked “what the administration is going to do about my daughter’s injury and how it happened.”
In a statement that called the videos “extremely disturbing,” Denver Public Schools Superintendent Tom Boasberg noted that the coaches involved as well as the district lawyer had been put on leave pending results of an investigation.
