PSYCHO mass murderer Adam Lanza hated to be touched by his own mother and communicated with her only by email even though they lived in the same house.
Those are just two of the stunning revelations made in a new report released one year after the twisted triggerman slaughtered 26 innocent people – including 20 first-graders in 11 minutes – in a crime that shocked the nation.
And The ENQUIRER can reveal new insight into the 20-year-old demented fiend’s bizarre world before his bloody rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
Meanwhile, the killer’s remarried 55-year-old father Peter Lanza is now a “broken man,” so wracked with shame over the massacre that he put his Stamford, Conn., home up for sale. And Adam’s mom Nancy – his first victim – continues to be blamed for pandering to him, taking him to shooting ranges and keeping weapons in the house.
The new report, compiled by the Connecticut state attorney’s office, details Lanza’s disturbing behavior, including how he covered his bedroom windows with black plastic trash bags and played a host of ultra-violent video and computer games, including one called “School Shooting.”
“This report shows that Adam Lanza was a robotic killing machine devoid of all humanity,” renowned San Diego-based forensic psychologist Dr. Glenn Lipson told The ENQUIRER. “Causing maximum pain was his goal.”
Adam also showed signs of being a homicidal maniac when he was just a 10-year-old fifth-grader by penning a violent storybook called The Big Book of Granny. The twisted tome chronicles the evil adventures of a gun-toting granny and her “son.”
In the eight-chapter book, Granny robs a bank with a shooting cane, guns down soldiers at a Marine boot camp and even travels back in time to murder The Beatles. Most prophetically, she threatens to shoot and kill students in a classroom! She also kicks the son into a burning fireplace, and the son blasts Granny in the head with a shotgun.
“This book should have shaken Adam’s mom to the core and caused her to get him serious help,” said Dr. Lipson. “Instead, years later, she died of four gunshots to the head.”
The report also details Lanza’s warped fascination with Columbine High School killers Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold – information The ENQUIRER broke way back in our Dec. 31, 2012 issue!
We revealed that two nights before his rampage, Lanza posted a message on a popular hacker website that said: “I’m going to kill myself on Friday and it will make the news, be watching at 9am.” Under the message was a disturbing image of the bodies of his “heroes,” Harris and Klebold, who slaughtered 12 students and a teacher in April 1999.
Lanza began his own rampage between 8 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 14, 2012, when he shot his 52-year-old mother Nancy to death with a .22-caliber rifle. Then he drove to the elementary school armed with a Bushmaster rifle, a 10mm Glock pistol, a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol and a “large supply of ammunition,” according to the report.
Firing 154 rounds from the Bushmaster, Lanza killed 20 kids age 6 and 7 and six adults before shooting himself to death with the Glock.
“Adam was a prisoner of his own sick psyche,” said Dr. Lipson. “It’s hard to imagine a young man with a more unbridled hatred for everything around him.”
