A lost flock of sheep in Texas was found after their owner saw a social media post from police who found them near an elementary school on Wednesday.

“We called Little Bo Peep, she said she found her sheep, and these are not part of her flock,” the Leander Police Department wrote on Facebook alongside photos of the flock near Tarvin Elementary School.

“We are hoping they will lead us to their home, wagging their tails behind them,” police wrote, offering a phone number for Leander Animal Services in case they didn’t.

In an update Thursday, police shared a video of the flock’s owner leading them over a grassy hill toward home.

These baa-d sheep were not put behind bars. They were returned to their owner,” police said. “Thank you, all for sharing the post, that’s how the owner found out where they were located.
