Sherri Shepherd’s Talk Show Faces Internal Tensions After Producer’s Controversial Video
A real mess is erupting behind the scenes at the Sherri show, where Sherri Shepherd’s best friend and executive producer, Jawn Murray, has thrown the daytime talker into chaos by posting a video that staffers are calling inappropriate.
“Is this a cultural thing?” Murray muses in the viral clip. “I’ve been noticing that predominantly the Black people in the bathroom wash their hands and some of the others don’t.”
The comment has sparked outrage, with some staffers saying they feel “humiliated” and “targeted.” “Jawn is out here going viral for bathroom commentary,” says one insider, “and dragging the whole show down the toilet with him!”
According to insiders, HR complaints have been filed as things reach a breaking point.
