Sherri Shepherd’s Executive Producer Under Fire After Begging Fans To Send Money For His Mom’s Birthday
In a surprising move that has been called “stunningly inappropriate” and a potential firing offense, Sherri Shepherd’s executive producer Jawn Murray has publicly begged fans to send money via CashApp to his mom, Gloria Johnson, for her birthday.
“There is absolutely no way Sherri signed off on this,” says a production insider. “This is shady at best, and completely unacceptable at worst.”
Another source says there’s been “tension and whispers about Jawn for months, since he’s Sherri’s best friend — but this? This is next-level. This is a business, not a birthday bake sale.”
