Cooking whiz Rachael Ray, once the unshakable queen of daytime TV and kitchen counters across America, has quietly fled the U.S. for Tuscany, Italy, and sources say she’s gone completely off the radar.

“She’s living abroad now, in Italy,” a worried friend confirms to Straight Shuter. “She says she feels safe there. Anonymous. No one judges the way she looks or speaks. She just wants peace.”

But many say it’s more like a big chill!

“We haven’t heard from her in months,” a longtime associate confesses. “No emails, no calls, no texts. It’s like she disappeared!”

Fans first sounded the alarm last year after a now-viral clip showed the 56-year-old chef slurring her words and appearing disoriented.

Ray chalked it up to a couple of “bad falls,” but insiders aren’t buying it.

“She’s always been hands-on, hauling firewood, doing chores. That was her brand — physical, loud, alive,” says a source. “Now? She’s completely withdrawn.”

While Ray still maintains a home in New York, insiders say she has all but relocated to a rural Italian village.

“She won’t even Zoom,” complains one colleague.

Her last public appearance was in October at the Food Network’s NYC Wine & Food Festival — and even then, some friends noted that she seemed “off.”

“Rachael has always been tough,” says a colleague. “But this is like she’s vanished. And we’re all praying it’s not for good.”
