The feud between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz continues to escalate as the presidential candidates’ wives are now caught in the middle of a Twitter war!
Trump has been on the attack throughout his campaign, firing nicknames and jabs at his opponents whenever possible. And now, Trump launched a twitter war with Cruz after seeing an attack ad featuring a nearly nude Melania Trump!
The ad featured photos of Trump’s wife from a GQ photo shoot in 2000, and was created by an anti-Trump PAC and not Cruz directly. But that didn’t stop Trump from taking to Twitter and telling Cruz to “be careful” or he would “spill the beans” on Cruz’s wife, Heidi.
Cruz then retaliated by calling Trump a “coward” and Trump soon fired back by retweeting a side-by-side comparison of Melania and Heidi, with the caption “a picture is worth a thousand words”
Cruz finished off the brawl with a tweet that read: “Donald, real men don’t attack women…”
The one question that remains is what Trump was referring to when he said he would “spill the beans” on Heidi Cruz. Radaronline.com had previously reported on Cruz’s wife being a “danger to herself” back in 2005 when she was experiencing a bout of depression. Could she be hiding something else?
