Police in Canada are seeking the public’s help identifying several suspects in a home invasion that was captured on surveillance video this week.

York Regional Police said officers responded to a home invasion in the area of Bayview Avenue and Ambler Lane in Richmond Hill, a suburb north of Toronto, Ontario, at around 3:30 a.m. Monday.

A home security video shared by police shows four suspects approaching the front door of the home. One of the suspects appears to try to cover the camera but fails to fully obscure the view. One of the suspects kicks in the front door to gain entry to the home, and all four enter as a security alarm can be heard.

According to police, the suspects “confronted the home owner and demanded money.” Police said at least one of the suspects was armed with a firearm. The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan driven by a fifth suspect.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 6630, or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
