Police in South Florida are searching for a driver who crashed into a home, causing “significant structural damage,” before fleeing the scene on foot.

Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash in which one of the vehicles “slammed” into a home at NW 13th Street and 7th Avenue at around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported at the scene, but there was “significant structural damage” to the house.

Photos shared by the fire department show a Jaguar sedan with Massachusetts plate 4VBE72 resting partially inside the home, with a gaping hole in the crumbling exterior wall. A pile of debris can be seen inside the home.

The fire department said a building inspector was called to check the structural integrity of the house.

The driver of the Jaguar fled the scene before authorities arrived, and is being sought by police.
