Zsa Zsa Gabor Health Crisis

Zsa Zsa Gabor, one of Hollywood's most enduring legends, was rushed to a hospital on Monday after suffering breathing difficulties. The glamour icon, who had just turned 99 years old on February 6, was diagnosed with a lung infection related to her feeding tube. Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, Zsa Zsa's ninth husband, said that his wife would be having surgery to remove the tube. The film star has been in ill health for several years, and confined to a wheelchair after a 2002 car accident. In 2011, Zsa Zsa had most of her right leg amputated when complications developed following a hip-replacement operation.

Zsa Zsa's homeless daughter, Francesca Hilton, died last year at the age of 67. The film star's husband, however, revealed to The National ENQUIRER that he didn't even tell his wife! "If they had talked over the last year or so, then maybe I would have told her — but because they didn't talk for so gone, there is no reason to tell my wife," Frédéric said in an exclusive interview.

Frédéric also noted that the couple had resolved some concerns over Zsa Zsa's estate. The flashy socialites had to sell their Bel Air home in 2013 for $11 million — but the deal allowed them to rent the home through 2016. Frédéric added that, at the time of her daughter's death, Zsa Zsa was "very alert and, mentally, I'd say 75 percent with us."
