Now nearly 60, Eddie Lee — who lives just outside Dallas — has been telling the world for years his mom, Gracie Lee, got knocked up during a 1958 fling with the "Red Headed Stranger" singer in San Angelo, Texas. “My dad’s Willie Nelson,” Eddie told a source for The ENQUIRER.

But Willie’s daughter, singer Paula Nelson, branded Lee “a total fruitcake” peddling a story that's “not true!” After "years” of threats, the family asked the FBI to step in — and agents are now “tracking him,” according to Paula, the child from Willie’s marriage to third wife Connie Koepke.

A spokesperson for the FBI’s Dallas office says the agency won’t comment on the situation “until an actual indictment is announced.” Meanwhile, a source close to the family says, “Lee’s insisting Willie come out and acknowledge paternity," or else!
