The National ENQUIRER, Verne
passed away at the age of 49 just weeks after he was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital. A call to 911 on April 2 had insiders claiming that he had become suicidal — and doctors also later treated Verne for alcohol poisoning.

The 2'8" actor, who found fame as "Mini Me" in the "Austin Powers" comedies, had remained in the hospital for the weeks following the medical crisis. Tragically, the relapse occurred just a year after V
erne had committed himself to rehab in an earlier attempt to beat his addictions. A toxicology report is expected to be performed to determine a cause of death.
