Val Kilmer Health Crisis: Caught In Public Using A Breathing Tube
Val Kilmer has been caught having to use a tracheostomy tube to help him breathe — even as he continues to deny The ENQUIRER's coverage of his battle with a deadly throat tumor! The photo above shows Val wearing the device when visiting a local Trader Joe's grocer store in Malbu, California, where he accidentally let his cover slip after months of trying to hide his medical procedures to fight throat cancer!

The National ENQUIRER reported last month that the 55-year-old actor had been admitted to UCLA Medical Center at the end of October under the alias of "Oscar Davis." An insider said: "Kilmer could barely speak," and added that Val had been hooked up to a tracheostomy tube and other machines. In a disturbing development, the source added that Kilmer's health was bad enough that "the medics were discussing 'comfort care'" — with doctors fearing that Val was in his sad final days!

Privately, however, Val's is trying to heal his tumor without doctors. "Val 'talks' to the illness, and meditates on it," said an insider. "He's been putting up a great battle," added another friend — who still had to admit: "He's wasting away!"
