Akayed Ullah, who blew himself up in an attempted Times Square bombing during the morning rush hour, has now been charged with multiple counts of terrorism — from his hospital bed!

Akayed Ullah, who blew himself up in an attempted Times Square bombing during the morning rush hour, has now been charged with multiple counts of terrorism — from his hospital bed!

As seen here, the Bangladesh native suffered serious injuries when the pipe bomb strapped to his waist prematurely detonated before he could detonate the device in a crowded subway car during the morning rush hour. Authorities have now charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and making a terroristic threat, along with supporting an act of terrorism.

Ullah — who had become a new father in June — reportedly told authorities that he had pledged allegiance to ISIS, and was seeking revenge for U.S. military action against Muslim nations. As previously reported by The National ENQUIRER, ISIS had marked Times Square as one of many American locales targeted by the vicious jihadist militant group.
