Javad Sajan, MD of
Allure Esthetic Plastic Surgery, who has not treated Smokey, is convinced Smokey has gone under the knife more than once. "Smokey Robinson is a prime example of male plastic surgery gone wrong. In my professional opinion, he has botched eye surgery.”

Dr. Sajan — who can be found on Instagram and Snapchat at
@realdrseattle — added, “He had surgery to remove extra skin in the upper and lower eyelids and too much skin was removed, this is why his right eye looks smaller and narrower. He also had the bags removed from his lower eyelids and too much was removed from the right side and now his right eye looks sunken in.”

He also detailed Smokey’s eyebrow surgery gone bad. “Smokey has a surprised look on his face that is startling. This is because the anatomy of a genetically born male eyebrow is flat and his are extremely arched making his face look more feminine. He had a female brow lift done on a male face.”

“A brow lift is a surgery to lift the eyebrows, and when the procedure is performed on a male, the plastic surgeon has to be careful not to cause an arch. His doctor over-corrected the eyebrows and this is very hard, if not nearly impossible to fully correct,” Dr. Sajan continued.

Dr. Vartan Mardirossian of
Mardirossian Facial Aesthetics, who also didn’t treat Smokey, in Jupiter echoed Dr. Sajan’s claims that a possible browlift and forehead lift may have been done. “His eyebrows have maintained their good position through the years and his hairline appears to have changed in a way that may be caused by a forehead lift procedure,” he said.
