The "Nothing Compares To You" hitmaker released this video of her sitting in her cheap motel room in Hackensack, N.J. — described by her as "the arse end of New Jersey." As seen here, a morose Sinead talks of how her psychiatrist is the only person keeping her from killing herself. Sadly, though, the horrific display is just the most recent in a series of bizarre suicidal rants!

In Nov. 2015, panicked fans alerted police after Sinead told alarmed fans she'd "taken an overdose" in another public suicide note. "I am not at home," she wrote. "I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name." Police later reported that she had been found "safe and sound," but was receiving medical assistance.

Cops went looking for Sinead twice in May 2016 — after she had disappeared in Chicago after posting a cryptic image on her Facebook account of with a quote from Harriet Tubman: "There was one of two things I had a right to: liberty or death; if I could not have one, I would have the other." She hadn't returned from a bike ride, but local authorities later reported that she had been found.

That was shortly after Sinead had made headlines accusing Arsenio Hall of contributing to the death of rock star Prince with another social media posting, writing that Arsenio was "where Prince got his drugs over the decades." Sinead later apologized after Arsenio filed a $5 million lawsuit over the claim.

And, sadly, Sinead once again made headlines in June 2016 with yet another suicide alert — based on reports that she had called police in Ireland and said that she was about to jump from a bridge in Chicago. But while Sinead is talking depression in New Jersey, she's also assuring fans that she won't be killing herself — insisting: "I'm not going to die, but still...”
