Frail Sean Connery Struggles Through Airport Alone

Sean Connery was caught by The National ENQUIRER arriving at Miami International Airport — as the jawline of the former James Bond, now 85 years old, sported new bandages to spark even more new fears about his health! Sources have already confided to The ENQUIRER that they fear for the aging superstar's life as he struggles with his beloved 84-year-old wife is facing  hard time in a Spanish slammer!

The legendary actor's health has continued to deteriorate as Micheline, his mate of 40 years, fights tax fraud charges that could cost her more than $24 million and put her behind bars for 30 months. “We’re terrified having his wife sent to prison will be the final nail in Sean’s coffin,” a pal told The ENQUIRER. Prosecutors insist Micheline defrauded the Spanish treasury out of nearly $8 million in taxes. Authorities charge she schemed with lawyers and businessmen to create “fictitious legal transactions” that would hide profits made from the sale of Casa Malibu — that being the couple's secluded beach home in the southern coastal town of Marbella. 

French-born Micheline declares she’s innocent — and her 007 hubby wasn’t prosecuted for his role in the deals. “We have nothing to do with this,” she said. “We sold the property and that is it.” Sadly, the mounting legal trouble comes amid growing fears once-strapping Connery is tragically facing his final days — and may not make it another six months! Sean, 85, who has overcome a slew of health problems, has looked  frail and ashen in recent public appearances. “We’re looking at the last days of Sean Connery,” one source said. “It will be heartbreaking to lose him!”
