With Karen behind bars, Sandra invited Karen’s mom — who is her half- sister — and stepdad to spend Christmas
at her Wyoming hideaway with her, her children and
her boyfriend Bryan Randall. Karen would bounce in and out of rehab, including a stay at the CODA Gresham Recovery Center in Portland. She then faced more legal trouble in late 2016 when she failed to return to jail after being released on a pass.

In April 2017, Karen pleaded guilty to unauthorized departure and was sentenced to 30 days in the slammer. But since serving her time, the 35-year-old mother of three has found God. “I am living proof that recovery works,” Karen proudly wrote on her Facebook page — with the insider adding: “Throughout the ordeal, Sandra has been a constant source of emotional support to the entire family!”
