The former “View” host fired back in a note to The Daily Mail, which published the Chelsea interview, claiming that “Chelsea is mentally ill…has been in and out of hospitals most of her life…born addicted to heroin,” among other shocking allegations. Readers of The National ENQUIRER, who have been following the O’Donnell’s volatile mother-daughter relationship for years, learned in March of the pair’s epic screaming matches.

Chelsea’s new accusations detail a 2015 attack that occurred when she came home with a tattoo, without Rosie’s permission, and Rosie demanded to see it. “She asked me to take off my clothes — she didn’t know where it was — to show her and I refused,” Chelsea recalls. “She picked up a wine bottle and started chasing me, trying to take off my clothes. She told me if I didn’t show her, if I tried to leave, that she would hit me with the wine bottle, call the police and tell them that I had attacked her.”

The traumatized teen, whose history of drug troubles, rehab, and desperate romance have been well chronicled in The ENQUIRER, describes Rosie “holding [the bottle] above her head and coming after me in her room. She kept trying to run after me and saying that, if she really wanted to, she could kill me, she’s that strong.

The severity of Rosie-Chelsea rift became even more evident in the comments of 19-year-old Chelsea's husband, Long Island plumber Nick Alliegro, 31, who recalled Rosie’s reaction to news that Chelsea — whom she had adopted as a baby — had become pregnant with the newlyweds' child, and miscarried.

“I told Rosie about the miscarriage but she never seemed to care or even asked any questions,” said Nick. “Like it didn’t matter to her.” As The ENQUIRER had reported nearly seven months before the young couple’s tragic loss, Rosie had effectively erased Chelsea from the family, eliminating the troubled teen from the O'Donnell's annual holiday card!
