That’s the revelation of
The National ENQUIRER's six-month investigation that offers evidence RFK and his brothers, President
John F. Kennedy (right) and Sen.
Edward "Ted" Kennedy (center), had
different dads! Unlike Joe-born JFK, Robert’s father was Rose’s high-society childhood friend,
Roger Sherman Hoar.

The scandalous truth was covered up by the FBI on orders of JFK, but a family friend told The ENQUIRER: “It’s been a
skeleton in the Kennedy closet for 93 years.” The Kennedys nurture their image as American royalty, but Joe Sr. was a ruthless punk who became wealthy bootlegging during Prohibition.

Rose, on the other hand, was a genuine New England blue blood. Her dad was Boston’s famed Mayor John “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald. What’s more, Hoar’s great-great granddad was a Founding Father, who’d signed the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

In their youth, Hoar wooed “Rosie” at Town Hall dances in Concord, Mass. But during a party at the Fitzgerald estate on Jan. 2, 1911, 21-year-old Rose met ambitious social climber Joe. “Roger became like a brother to Rose,” said the insider. “Joe was new and exciting.”

Rose and Joe wed on Oct. 7, 1914, but their union was rocky. His public romancing of movie beauty
Gloria Swanson “humiliated her,” said the source. So she cheated with Hoar, became pregnant and delivered RFK on Nov. 20, 1925. “Joe was furious, but had to claim the child was his,” said the pal.

“RFK was Rose’s revenge.” Hoar, a lawyer and author, referred to the affair in his 1925 novel “The Radio Beasts.” He described an encounter with an “old classmate” in “Cape Cod.” Meanwhile, RFK (just to the right of JFK) grew up as an oddball among his eight siblings.

He showed none of his brothers’ athleticism and was noticeably shorter at five-foot-nine. What’s more, Joe Sr. seemed to resent Bobby, branding the boy a “runt” and neglecting him. Private investigator Charles Parker examined dozens of photographs of Joe Sr. and Robert at the same age.

His computer analysis compared details of both men’s faces. His conclusion: “I cannot say with any certainty Bobby Kennedy is, in fact, a Kennedy!” Another expert, Sam Rovin, who used a different program, declared RFK and Hoar are “indisputably a match!”

Bobby’s birth and early years are a mystery. FBI documents indicate Joe bribed officials to destroy RFK’s birth certificate. On a 1951 application for a government job, Bobby, then 26, claimed he was born in Brookline, Mass.

But the FBI found that claim to be false — and records “contained no reference” of RFK’s birth within the state of Massachusetts! The FBI’s probe of RFK’s origins continued until Bobby had two meetings with bureau boss
J. Edgar Hoover (center) “on a personal matter” in early 1954.

His file was officially closed shortly after the meetings. “The only way Robert was able to have a career and avoid charges of perjury,” said the friend, “was to come clean about his parentage.” Bobby was running for president — following in his older half-brother JFK’s footsteps — when he was assassinated in June 1968.

Said the friend: “Ironically, he died trying to help others who, like himself, were outsiders.” Attorney General RFK is shown here with Vice President

Roy Wilkins, and other civil rights leaders.
