Richard Gere is reportedly set to become a father — after secretly marrying his much-younger galpal Alejandra Silva! ABC, the popular daily paper in Madrid that was given the scoop on Alejandra’s wedding in 2017, is reporting that Richard and his bride are already expecting their first child together, with the actor about to turn 69 years old on Aug. 31. Richard’s reps say they can’t confirmed the reports, but insiders had already told The National ENQUIRER that the “Pretty Woman” star was ready to have a baby with Alejandra — with or without being married!

“He knows this is his last shot at fatherhood,” an insider told The ENQUIRER shortly after the couple secretly wed in a private civil ceremony in April 2017. “They’ve really enjoyed spending a few weeks with this as their little secret. Now, they’re talking nonstop about wanting a baby [and] they want it to happen immediately!”

And another close source added that it wasn't marriage that made Richard ready to become a dad. Instead, the insider said that the couple actually debated getting married more than they talked about having a child. “He believes having a baby with Alejandra is commitment enough,” said the source, but now Richard looks set to be a happily married dad!
