Shocked social workers in Washington State investigated a couple with three children — and claim they were shooting up their kids with heroin! Mac McIver, 25, and 24-year-old girlfriend Ashlee Hutt were quickly busted on charges of child assault and "unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor."

The tragic children (pictured) were a 6-year-old boy, a 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old girl — all of whom were quickly taken to safety by inspectors from Child Protective Services in Spanaway, Wash. Sadly, the children's shocking abuse took several months to uncover!

Social workers first investigated the couple in May 2015, after receiving an anonymous tip. On Nov. 15, 2015, inspectors finally took the children away from Hutt and McIver — citing that heroin was found inside the filthy house, along with hypodermic needles. (McIver posted this photo of a broken door on social media that same month.)

The inspectors also noticed marks on the children's arms that suggested drug use. The oldest child finally talked about how he and his siblings were frequently injected with "feel good medicine!" The child explained how the medicine would make them drowsy after it was injected into them.

The 2-year-old tested positive for heroin after being given a hair-follicle drug test. The other children tested negative — but the 4-year-old was still found to have heroin in her system. The oldest child, like the others, still showed marks of injection. McIver pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned in September. Hutt did the same after being arraigned on Oct. 31, 2016. They're both being held on $100,000 bail.
