O.J. Simpson At His Criminal Trial
O.J. Simpson has his own opinion about the hit show “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” That's the word from his longtime friend and manager Norman Pardo, who says O.J. is following the show about his murder trial from behind bars! "It's about him," Norman told "Good Morning America." "Even though it's fictional or whatnot, it's still about him, so he'll watch!"

Norman doesn't expect O.J. to be impressed by Cuba Gooding Jr.'s performance as the disgraced footballer, though — saying the Oscar-winner lacks O.J.'s charisma. “They never consulted, I don’t think, anybody from O.J.’s side to explain that that’s not O.J.," said Norman. "It doesn’t even sound like him. O.J. Simpson has a charisma about him. He’s a good-looking guy. He’s a ladies’ man. When he walks into a room, everybody runs to him, the women."

"He’ll do things that are just whacked out," added Norman. "He’ll sit in the corner and he’ll talk to himself, he’ll answer himself. I’ve caught him doing that numerous times. He’s like a child. When we handle him, it’s like a child. You’ve got to really watch him, watch his mannerisms."

Norman also told "Good Morning America" that "American Crime Story" has added two victims to the story of O.J.'s murder trial. “It’s just sad for [O.J.'s] kids," he said. "That’s the main thing. They shouldn’t have to go through this all over again. Their mother was butchered, and their father is considered a murderer by a lot, and they have to relive that for the next two months, over and over and over."
