Michael Jackson’s Son Reliving Dad’s Skin-Disease Nightmare

Prince Jackson spent two weeks at an ultra-exclusive Swiss clinic — and sources claimed he was treated for the same skin condition that afflicted his father!

The National ENQUIRER has learned the late music legend’s son jetted to Europe after wrecking his motorcycle on Nov. 2 in Los Angeles. “Prince was able to completely rest, which was good for his health,” the insider spilled to The ENQUIRER.

“He can’t do that in Los Angeles because he’s always being followed and photographed," said the source. "In Switzerland, he was able to get the treatment he needs in privacy.” According to his rep, Prince had “sustained a knee injury and multiple lacerations” when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle.

He was rushed to a local hospital but was back home the same day, and later flew to Switzerland, said the source. After Prince, shown here with younger sister Paris, returned to L.A. on Nov. 26, a Hollywood insider speculated more than an injured knee prompted his stay at the Swiss facility.

“It doesn’t make any sense,” said the insider. “What? There are no orthopedists in Los Angeles, never mind America?” In 2009, Prince’s aunt La Toya revealed he was plagued by the same skin disease that burdened Michael. “Vitiligo is on my father’s side and Prince has it, too — on his arms and chest,” she said.

Vitiligo, which is hereditary, causes patches of skin to lose pigment, creating a blotchy appearance. In August 2014, Prince was photographed leaving a martial-arts class, and white patches could be seen on his arms. “The blotches on his skin were clearly visible, but he seems to be coping with it,” a source told The ENQUIRER.

Although it’s unclear whether Prince underwent treatment for vitiligo, reports that he patronized a Swiss clinic is a troubling omen for Michael’s son. “Coping with that skin condition caused Michael to tinker with his appearance — until he looked downright odd!” said the source.

Michael, confessed he injected hydroxychloroquine directly into his scalp to whiten his skin, and used pancake makeup to camouflage the blotches. Swiss clinics are renowned for offering bizarre alternative treatments, such as shock therapy, ice chambers and acid skin peels.

“The family knows a couple of therapeutic and holistic doctors in Switzerland,” noted a family source. “Michael used one for back pain and other woes. Now Prince appears to be using the same medical Rolodex as his father!”
