"Hello, Blanket," began Joe — seemingly unaware that the Prince of Pop's
15-year-old offspring now prefers to be called Biji. Joe then seemed to refer to a recent bike accident that was really had by Biji's brother Prince: “Now I understand why your father had you wear masks all the time, ’cause news people was bothering him so much and he tried to disguise you as much as possible. But I want you to stay healthy and stay off those bikes!”

Insiders agreed it’s hard to feel sympathy for Joe, who ruled his performing children with an iron fist while turning them into young hitmakers as The Jackson 5. Marlon Jackson even once recalled how Joe once held Michael upside-down by one leg and then “pummeled him over and over.” But in a tragic twist, Joe pleaded for Biji to "be like me. Be tough. Be tough in a good way."
