Michael became the latest megastar accused of sick sexual harassment at the end of 2017, when he learned a former member of his production staff was telling reporters that he had exposed himself to her over 30 years ago. "This is a complete lie, fabrication, no truth to it whatsoever," he declared to showbiz site Deadline.com, explaining that he "felt the need to get ahead of this."

The anonymous woman's accusation also dates back to the same period where Michael was said to suffer from sexual addiction, as reported by The National ENQUIRER. The star even spent a 1992 stint in the Sierra Tucson rehab center in Arizona — the same clinic where Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein sought treatment after their sex scandals of 2017!

"Michael [said] he'd become addicted to both drugs and alcohol because it was the only way he could justify his sexual actions," an insider told The ENQUIRER — although Michael later insisted: "I went to rehab for alcohol abuse. I was just drinking too much." He added, speaking of his then-wife: "It's something Diandra and I have struggled through."

Insiders had told The ENQUIRER that Michael entered rehab after being caught by Diandra with another woman in Sept. 1992 — but by June 1995, she reportedly suspected that he was cheating again. Friends claimed she'd caught him in yet another hotel with a family friend, leading to their final split later that year.

Michael, however, is still fighting back against the new claims. "It’s extremely painful," he told Deadline. "I pride myself on my reputation in this business — not to mention the long history of my father and everything else. I don’t have skeletons in my closet, or anyone else who’s coming out or saying this. I’m bewildered why, after 32 years, this is coming out now."
