Batali has cooked up a storm with Hollywood beauties including
Scarlett Johansson,
Susan Sarandon,
Katie Holmes and
Valerie Bertinelli. But a blockbuster exposé on the Eater website revealed four different women accusing the celebrity restauranteur of ruthlessly taking advantage of his fame. One aspiring chef told Eater that she was attacked after spilling wine on her blouse, as he wiped away at her breasts.

“He just went to town,” said the chef, “and I was so shocked...I just stepped back from him in utter disgust and walked away.” The lecherous TV star had even been caught in a 2017 sex scandal — with Batali having to undergo sensitivity training after a complaint to his own company.

A rep for Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group said that the 2017 incident was the first formal complaint ever made against Batali by an employee. ABC has now asked Batali to leave "The Chew," with a spokesperson saying the networld would “review the allegations that have just recently come to our attention.”

Batali — who was also accused in a 2010 lawsuit of ripping off waiters for their tips — hasn't denied the allegations. Instead, he announced that he was also stepping down from running his restaurants for an unspecified period, saying: “I apologize to the people I have mistreated and hurt...much of the behavior described does, in fact, match up with ways I have acted.”
