Airwolf actor Jan-Michael Vincent tragically died on February 10 from cardiac arrest, it was revealed on Friday, March 8. He was 74 years old at the time of his death.

Jan-Michael's third wife, Anna, was there for the star during the scary time. "When the doctor said they had to amputate, I almost fainted, but I had to be brave for him," she revealed to The ENQUIRER.

“He was delirious and hallucinating. They were giving him powerful pain meds and propofol — the stuff that killed Michael Jackson."
“They said the infection was so bad that he might not survive," she continued. “I remember one horrible night in the hospital. I had to help hold him down and keep the oxygen mask on him so he could breathe.”

Jan-Michael opened up about the terrifying experience to The National ENQUIRER. “I know I was on life support and a ventilator. When I finally woke up it, (my leg) was gone," he said.

Jan-Michael dealt with a slew of health issues over the years thanks to his battle with drugs and alcohol. In 1997, it was reported by The Examiner that Jan-Michael was reportedly diagnosed with liver cancer which was brought on by years of booze and drug abuse.
