Ever since the initial Oct. 1 massacre on the Las Vegas strip, authorities have said that heroic security guard Jesus Campos had approached
Paddock's hotel suite at the Mandalay Bay resort during the shooting to investigate an open-door alarm. The original timeline said that Campos' intervention at 10:15 pm had caused Paddock to quit firing on the crowd.

Sheriff Joe Lambardo now says, however, that Campos had been shot at 9:59 pm, and had been able to immediately notify security. Paddock was still able to begin firing from his suite at the revelers below at 10:05 pm — with Lombardo admitting that he has no idea why the heavily-armed killer
stopped his bloody attack just 10 minutes later.

Police didn't arrive outside of Paddock's hotel room until 10:17 pm — two full minutes after the gunman had given up his reign on terror. It would be over an hour before police finally raided the room and found Paddock's dead body, with this video showing his final surroundings in Room 32135.

As seen here, Paddock had a perfect view of the audience gathered at the Route 91 Harvest music festival — having reportedly abandoned earlier plans to
wreak terror on the Lollapalooza Music Festival attended by Malia Obama in Aug. 2016. Now the bizarre new admission by Las Vegas cops raises new questions about the police response time — and the motivations of the mysterious killer!
