Kim Kardashian West: Who Loves Ya, Baby?

As a new mother, Kim Kardashian West takes a moment to ponder the current state of the world and contemplate the big existential questions of Time, Being and Nothingness. Nah, we’re just pulling your pulling your chain! Kimmy is actually just admiring herself after a marathon 4-hour coloring, primping and pampering session at Mêche hair salon in Beverly Hills.

The mother of North, 2, and Saint, 3 months, made room for some Me Time at the salon after a raucous visit to the East Coast for New York Fashion Week, where hubby Kanye West debuted his Yeezy Season 3 line as well as his new album. Kim took the all-white theme to extremes by opting for platinum hair (or perhaps just a wig)!

Still, that long, straight hair — and today’s look — was a departure from her signature braided pigtails, which she had been sporting since forever. No wonder Kim, 35, could not stop running her fingers through her non-interlocked locks!  

Then again, maybe she’s savoring one last trip to the beauty parlor before financial doom makes such luxuries unthinkable. After all, Kanye, the rapper/clothing designer/media mogul, 38, did tweet to the world that he’s $53 million in debt! But wait — Kim has wisely kept her finances separate from his, so she’s in the clear. Bring on the salon visits!

According to “Forbes,” while Kanye ranked No. 20 on the list of 100 highest-paid celebrities in 2014, Yeezy tumbled out of the rankings in 2015 — meaning he took in less than $28.5 million last year. In 2014, the magazine estimated he took in about $30 million, thanks largely to his Yeezus tour.

Kim, meanwhile, ranked No. 33 on the “Forbes” 100 highest-paid list last year, pulling down about $53 million! (Up from $28 million in 2014. “Forbes” estimated she earned half that haul from her game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Still be careful, Kimmy — if you spend too long simply staring at yourself, when will you find the time to post selfies?
